Take card payments with Stripe

Guest card payments are paid straight to your own Stripe account. This is separate from your Bookeva subscription.

  1. 1

    Start payment setup

    Open Settings, then Card payments, and choose Start payment setup. You may be asked for your authenticator code.

  2. 2

    Finish the details on Stripe

    Continue on Stripe. Stripe asks for business details, a bank account for payouts, an ID or company document, and details of owners or directors.

  3. 3

    Check the status

    Back in Bookeva, choose Check again. The steps show Stripe account created, details sent, card payments on and payouts on.

  4. 4

    Choose payment rules

    When the status shows Ready, choose full payment, a deposit or pay at the hotel for each rate.

  5. 5

    Take payments

    Take a payment from any stay, and see your payouts without leaving Bookeva.

Good to know

  • Only the organisation owner can connect Stripe.
  • If you disconnect Stripe, guests cannot pay by card until you connect again. Payment links already sent can still be paid until they expire.
  • Bookeva never stores card numbers.
